I listen, understand, and execute the image you wish to project, with refinement.
Taste has to be lived. A person either performs taste or curates it, and the difference is everything. The right people are above status markers. They understand that taste comes from the deepest facets of life, the way of being one cultivates over years rather than the pieces one acquires in a season.
Paraître Privé exists for the rare individual who understands that what the world receives is as deliberate as what they have built. This is not a styling service. It is a private consultancy in the full architecture of public image, the most intimate and consequential work Cedar and Goldfinch offers, extended to a strictly limited circle.
The relationship begins with listening. Before anything is sourced, selected, or introduced, we go deep into how you wish to be seen, the rooms you intend to command, the legacy you are quietly assembling. From that understanding, every element of your visible life is brought into alignment: the clothes you wear and where they come from, the art on your walls and who made it, the table you set and what it communicates, the destinations you choose and how you arrive in them. Nothing is recommended without purpose. Nothing is procured without intention.
Through The Holiday Atelier, travel is woven directly into the image being built. Where you stay, how you move through the world, and the cultural fluency you carry with you are not incidental to your public presence. They are central to it.
The result is not a wardrobe refresh or a decorator’s intervention. It is a fully realized paraître: the version of you the world receives, elevated to match the one you have always known yourself to be.
Paraître Privé is offered on annual retainer. Acceptance is exclusive and determined on an internal basis. Inquiries may be made by introduction or direct request only.
